Neon Circuit Rush
★★★★☆ 4.2
Neon Circuit Rush goes for pure arcade thrills and lands them. This isn't a simulation — it's about chaining drifts, hitting boost pads, and threading traffic at ridiculous speed. The tracks are neon-soaked and the camera sells the velocity perfectly.
Controls default to tilt steering, but there's a tap-based option that we honestly preferred for precision on the tighter courses. Drifting is forgiving enough to feel good immediately but has enough depth that leaderboard times demand near-perfect lines. Mastering a track feels great.
Our only gripe is that the car roster feels a little thin at launch, and a few later tracks reuse the same scenery. Still, for a quick adrenaline hit between other games, it's hard to beat.
What we liked
- Excellent sense of speed
- Drifting that's easy to learn, hard to master
- Responsive tap-steering option
