Emberfall Chronicles: what to craft first
Emberfall Chronicles lures you in with combat and then quietly makes crafting the thing that decides whether you win or lose. We learned this the hard way around chapter three.
Early on, the temptation is to sell spare components for gold. Don't. The chapter-five boss expects you to have a crafted weapon upgrade and at least one resistance accessory, and the materials for those start dropping way earlier than you'll need them.
Prioritize your main damage dealer's weapon tree first, then a single defensive piece for whoever absorbs hits in your party. Spreading crafting thin across four characters is a classic trap — a focused build clears content a scattered one can't.
If you're already stuck at the spike, grind the chapter-four side encounters for an evening. The components there are exactly what you need, and the extra levels soften the wall considerably.
